1999 Island Packet 40

Palmetto, Florida

The Island Packet 40 is an all around great cruising yacht whether you plan to single hand or sail with family or friends. Not too big, not too small - this yacht is just right. Island Packet 40's are well known for their good sailing characteristics, safety, and sea keeping. Bob Johnson designed the full foil keel for superior safety & stability. And there's a protected propeller and rudder to minimize fouling.

Chimayo's owners have maintained her and loved her and are ready to turn her over to a new owner that will get as much enjoyment from her as they have.

"The Island Packet 40 has established itself as an industry benchmark for high quality cruising sailboats with its sparkling performance, superior safety and sea keeping, ease of handling and spacious, livable accommodations.
