About the Boat

This is an exceptional example of Jefferson's Rivanna Cockpit Trawler, powered by optional twin Cummins 6CTA8.3M2 Diamond Series diesels, coupled with a performance semi displacement hull, this CPMY cruises at a comfortable 16kts with a top end of 20kts. Cruise her @8kts and her range is 600 miles and fuel burn @ .5 gpm. Truly the best of both worlds. She carries 420 Gallons in two aluminum tanks.

This vessel has a unique story and some special one-of-a-kind features. She was the first Rivanna constructed by Jefferson Yachts in partnership with the Hershine Marine Co., Ltd boat yard in Taiwan - a renowned and quite famous boat yard known for heavy construction, fine craftsmanship and masterful interior woodwork.

Her design and construction was personally overseen by the CEO of Jefferson Yachts since she was the flagship for the Rivanna line, and destined to represent Jefferson Yachts during the 2002 boat show circuit in Florida and the East Coast.

Jefferson spared no expense during this build including items such as steel encased stringers, oversize deck hardware, stunning high gloss Teak wood work throughout her interior, among other noticeable touches and attention to detail.

Since the owners fell in love with her at a boat show and later purchased her, she has been cared for with much love and attention. She has been cruised lightly each year along Florida's Gulf Coast, including two "Great Loop" adventures.

All systems and maintenance are up to date. She comes with a spare parts locker and equipment list that is extensive. She was hauled in Oct 2016 for inspection and received new bottom paint, zincs and cutlass bearings.

She is truly "Loop" ready and includes a complete 3-ring binder set of manuals for all systems, engines, as well as up to date maintenance log with receipts, along with    various notes and files regarding vessel maintenance.

When delivered to the U.S., she priced out at $845K when complete. She still looks new and fresh. And at her current asking price she is a bargain.

You won't find a more comfortable or voyage-ready vessel for the Bahamas, the Keys, and especially the Great Loop!

Accommodations

As you enter the salon from the aft deck go down a few easy steps to a well laid out and open concept Salon. To Starboard you will find a comfortable and elegant off-white leather "L" shaped sofa. At the sofa there is a beautiful Cherry multi level coffee table.

All the way forward on the Starboard side is the beautiful lower helm station with a classic teak wheel, VHF Radio, GPS, Depth Sounder head. There are two handsome back lit electrical panels.

Looking down the Port side of the Salon is comfortable swivel chair. The entire outboard port side is a row of storage cabinets. Forward of the chair is a beautiful counter height cabinet with opening doors and storage. On top of the bar is a nice flat screen 32" TV.

The large salon windows offer panoramic views and good visibility forward while underway. All windows are covered with custom solar screen shades for privacy and heat reduction.

Moving forward it is two steps down to the galley, which is to port. Across on the starboard side is a nice café style dining booth with leather seating and a nice teak table. The galley has a full sized GE refrigerator and a Kenyon 3 burner ceramic cook top and oven! There is lots of counter space and storage for kitchen items. Any cook will be happy in this great, well thought out galley.

Forward of the galley is the Guest Stateroom. It features a queen sized "Pullman" style berth, nice dressing seat, cedar lined hanging locker and storage cabinets. The en-suite head has a large separate shower, Vacu-Flush head and a nice vanity.

Aft of the Salon is a spacious and well appointed Master Stateroom. There is a "walk around" memory foam topped queen sized bed, surrounded by storage cabinets, a huge cedar lined closet and hanging locker. The master en-suite head sports an almost full sized bathtub and shower, a nice vanity and a Vacu-Flush head. The handy washer/dry combo is also in the master stateroom.

The interior woodwork and joinery through out is tight and well done.

Her solid teak planked cabin sole is a welcome departure from the usual teak and holly plywood flooring. It is almost flawless and will stay that way for many years.

Overall the gloss finished Teak Wood interior of the boat is elegant, super clean and will make even the pickiest person smile!

Deck and Cockpit

The outdoor livability and comfort of this vessel is outstanding.

A full beam aft deck is covered by an integrated hard top and isinglass enclosure, with a spacious seating area that includes furniture set, Fiberglass Wet Bar, U-Line Ice Machine, Broan trash compactor,  wired with 110V outlets and Cable TV.

Her solid "wing doors", to port and starboard, enclose the seating area from the elements and each lead forward to the bow. Her walk ways are wide and easily navigated with heavy stainless hand rails leading forward that have retractable sliding rails on either side for mid-ship entry and exit via a custom boarding ladder.

Ground tackle consists of 90' of chain, 250' line, chrome plated plow anchor with long fluke and swivel, and powered by a Maxwell Freedom windlass, along with fresh and salt water couplings for easy wash down.

The lower aft cockpit is accessed from the covered aft deck down two steps. The cockpit provides excellent safety when docking, handling lines or loading gear and groceries. Here you will find her stern cleats, 50A power cord, storage, as well as a cockpit door that leads to the swim platform. There are connections for a bait bag if desired for fishing!

Returning to the covered aft deck, and slightly to port you will find the salon entry door that leads below as well as a very wide and completely integrated fiberglass stairway (no ladder) that leads up to the enclosed fly bridge/upper helm. The helm station is well laid out and provides excellent visibility.

The bimini top is constructed of white Stamoid (upgraded material) with zip-out Isinglass enclosure windows. Directly behind the captains' chair to starboard you will find a large wrap around "L" shaped seating area and table as well as an additional bench seating area to port, both offering plenty of room to stretch out and relax when underway.

The radar arch is hinged for bridge clearance, and a large aft upper deck is accessible for sun bathing or dingy storage (currently no dinghy chocks or davit, but easily installed, as the boat is pre-wired for an electric davit, and the structure is set up for it). A portable AC unit is used to cool the helm area when underway during the summer months and this is included with the vessel.
