“Claudia and I just wanted to say ‘thank you’ for helping us handle the sale of our 45 ft Island Packet sailboat “Cool Change”. We were amazed at how quickly it was sold…especially in today’s market conditions. At Whiteaker Yacht Sales you obviously know your business and how to market a boat. The whole process couldn’t have gone smoother. While we were fortunate to find a buyer quickly, it still requires skill and knowledge to bring the sale to a close.

We also want to give a special thanks to Mike Fauser, your salesman who handled our listing. We knew Mike from when we purchased the boat in 2007 and were impressed with his professionalism back then, so he was an obvious choice when it came time to sell our boat. He helped us establish a competitive sell price, and then went over the boat to make sure that we had her in the best condition to impress prospective buyers. He was personally involved in the process, even scrubbing the deck himself prior to showing the boat. His knowledge of sailboats, and Island Packet boats in particular, helped him answer prospect’s questions. Once we had an offer, he kept the process going until we negotiated a fair selling price. Then, prior to closing, he checked over the boat one last time to make sure the ‘walk through’ went well. Over all, he was great!
